Whang-od on the cover of Vogue has brought a moment of pride for me and many of my friends here in Manila, at a time when it’s difficult to see our country in a positive light. That she’s now inspired women the world over has also given us the gift of visibility. It’s beyond humbling. Thank you for including her in your list!
Wow, Viva again! I'd almost forgotten. They published an early piece of mine, an answer to Nora Ephron's Esquire piece "Some Notes About My Breasts," in which she laments her small ones. Mine, in Viva: "My Cup Runneth Over." There was no way to get it right, with breasts: one was either too small or too large. The bad old days!

Thank you for that added context!
I too found that Vogue cover absolutely stunning. What an awesome person as well.
Truly! 106!!!
Just incredible.
I thought it was gorgeous, too. We need to retrain our thinking - we shouldn’t have been so surprised!
Binging “Tiny Beautiful Things”. Stayed up way too late. 😖😀
Thanks for the shout-out, Sari!
Love your work, Aubrey! <3

Wow! You'll love "Stiffed," Catherine!
I can remember my mom reading Viva, but I had no idea of the story behind it. Thank you for that and the DJ Hollywood mention.
Oh, neat! And my pleasure.
Great line up! Thank you.
