Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! The superpower of changing the past -- what a remarkable way of expressing this phenomenon, of the outcome of an expansion of wisdom and compassion.
Several good reminders. One of my favorites: "This ability to be hopeful despite the evidence is something I've cultivated and espoused over the years; and I believe that it is the key ingredient allowing me to feel younger than my years."
My favourites: ‘exposure to a diverse mix of humanity has allowed me the opportunity again and again to see the common threads that run through every single person and holds us all together.’

I have the same feeling, that life is only getting started for me now, at 57, and though it’s off to a slow and rocky start I’m looking forward to the big reveal. It’s important to hear others affirm this possibility with their experience, so, thank you!
Well said “aging is a lifelong process of adjusting expectations to meet the moment, and it's best to do so with grace, dignity and a sense of humor.” Something to live by for sure. Thank you Celeste!
Thanks, and just want to add that they are a wonderful teacher. A workshop with them, many years ago, is a probably a direct cause for the non-academic writing that I have started to do here on substack.
What a beautiful, inspiring soul you are. At 70, I am gathering your words to make a better life for myself. Thank you.
May I just address Celeste’s simply magnificent style
You may! And I agree. <3

Inspiring thoughts. Thanks.

As well as : “one person’s fights for justice is a fight for everyone everywhere. “

Same! <3
Such wonderful words, thank you for this interview.
Such a generous outlook.
I once read a line in a poem that I can’t find now --
“Smile though you know all the facts”
Appreciate Celeste is doing that for the rest of us :) I aspire to do the same
I love that.
Chanting the past as a possibility ❤️❤️❤️
Joyous!

That's great to hear!
So inspired and uplifted by her observations and wisdom!
I so relate to this! Love being in my 60's. Both confidence and beginner's mind, yay!
