At 69, I so relate to all of this. Thank you, Peter, for putting it so succinctly and hilariously. Laughter is the best medicine for the inevitability of aging.
Wow, I love your attitude. And your boundless energy for life is amazing. I never realized that you were 67. I'm soon to be 64 and all this time I've been thinking that I was old enough to be your mother! Carry on, Sonny, you'll be going places. 😎
I think I’ve hovered in that ‘sweet spot’ era for over a decade now: retired, so I have time to do what I like; health is good (because I like to do healthy things); I’m not broke, so I can afford to do those healthy things (travel, nice bikes, good food)…maybe I need to up the sex factor, however. Fun way to answer the questions, Mr Moore, Thanks!
Laughed and laughed. Not sure if laugher was largely from self-recognition: I'm 67, newly retired, and writing a lot. And the low expectations, the urinary stream . . . Nah. It was just funny.
Over the past decade, I've taken to doing just that. It hardly feels like multitasking since something's not doing its job. Anyway, no fishing for fallen phones yet . . .
I am utterly, hopelessly in love with these mordant cartoons and the sensibility that drives them.
Mordant is such a great word. What a compliment to have it applied to my work!
Will let you know how my wife feels about a ménage.
Wouldn’t it make a good cartoon?
Do you mean you, Peter's wife and a cartoon? (If yes, which one?)
This is just epic and seriously needs to be in a book!! So witty.
Instant classic
All the classics are old, after all.
But not all, age well. This could be a series of pictographs on a cave wall, made by a wise (old) neanderthal
And talented. Forgot talented.
Thank you for this. Made me smile. And almost accept creeping uselessness

Joyful!
“Joy” is what we’re all reaching for now, right? Glad I captured it for you.
This is the best one ever!
Love the Rockwell spoof at the beginning. Excellent column.
Glad you enjoyed this.
Brilliant! As an "older woman," I relate to almost everything. I just sent this to my cousin who's 81 tomorrow. Yes, we still like bday cards.
Hilarious!!!🤣
Thanks! From 74, I hear you, i see you!
But through bifocals, probably, right Karen?
Ha, ha, ha! Trifocals, of course!!!
I love this! Peter Moore sounds like a hoot.
Hoot, as in owl? 🦉
Hoot, as in funny. Alive. Forward-facing. Effervescent!
Hoping for wisdom, too! Thx Not the Enemy!
De nada, Road2Elsewhere! And yes, wisdom. The tire tracks of having spent many years on the road, so to speak!

Oh and thank you for the intro to Oldster. I'll be signing up!

Yes Sir, keep doing what you do. Loved the humor.

Brothers, poised over the toilet waiting for SOMETHING to happen. Is it gauche to check your phone with one hand?

Shared with my to-be 66-year-old husband. Perfect!
