So wonderful. I love the line "I guess I always expected that I’d have to behave myself more at this age." LOVE it.

I love how she shared her joy at being a mom - there's so much hammering the idea of how hard it is. Just a fun, upbeat read this morning!

I love Jeannie Ralston—I’ve known her for years since I was an editor at Parents. Her enthusiasm, courage and joie de vivre are so inspiring. Great interview!

Love your humor, grace and perspective on growing older. I'm 53 but still am very active and open to new adventures. Speaking of which, I just discovered your NextTribe trips and am looking at the Summer Downtown in NYC Tour. Looks so fabulous!! ;)

I liked it. Your story and the person you are sharing with us. You struck a note with me on behaving and having fun. I’m encouraged to be myself. Thank you I’m 73 and impressed with the world you’re making for yourself and sharing. You are giving us all good information this is much needed by so many. I’m glad you are writing.

Sounds like a fun ride! You're making me wish I were still homeschooling my now-middle-schooler. Also: it's lovely to hear from olderish women who've decided not to take the Fake Face Train. The subject here looks fabulous without all that.

I love the exuberance for life. And yes to flirting with the young baristas! (They could probably use a little razzle dazzle in their day anyway especially from a foxy lady.)

“If you get old without a sense of humor, there’s no hope for you.” Love that line. And wow --what a life. I am amazed at all Jeanne has done. I joined Next Tribe a while back but haven't had the chance to go on any of the trips yet. It might be worth going on one just to be around someone so adventurous and accomplished! Maybe it could rub off on me....

I was so inspired by Jeannie’s interview and sense of enthusiasm that I checked out her NextTribe website—wow! The trips look amazing and now I’m signed up to receive her newsletter. It would be awesome to go on one of the trips—they all sound like great adventures.

Thanks for this awesome interview Sari and Jeannie. I love the sentiment that nothing that happens in our life is wasted and you’re now using your awesome trip planning skills in your company. This is a great reminder!

I love the line, 'I guess I always expected that I’d have to behave myself more at this age.' I'm 46, and I held the same conviction until I read this interview, haha. Not anymore! It feels liberating to shed that belief. Thank you!

Keep going Girl! You are carrying your mom's legacy as a role model, but to so many.
