I loved this so much! I ALSO want to be a tree when I die.

Thank you! And a tree seems like a pretty nice resting place…

Ricki is why I, a very sensible person, had a home birth. My first gyno doc said that I would have a caesarean because my husband was an 11 pound baby. My midwife said that big babies needed their mothers to be able to move around while birthing them, which made so much more sense to me. Thank you Ricki!

Learned so much about Ricki! What a light - a survivor - thanks for the reminder that hard times are temporary and often create growth and beautiful things in the future. ❤️

Love this! It's so cool to see what Ricki Lake has done and become since Hairspray. She's amazing! One thing: Can we not say "XX years young"? Instead, let's embrace getting old! And redefine what it means; it's not all bad, and if we're lucky we can even thrive in old age. I do appreciate her emphasis on quality over quantity.

Yes, she is incredible. Pas I’m fine with however anyone wants to describe being their age.

Very interesting. A running theme I’ve noticed with people our age is the ability to set boundaries.

I often wish I could give this particular knowledge to young women: saying no without defending it or explanation. Because I could have really used it thirty years ago. It’s a superpower.

And the letting go—whew. I like her attitude of making life an adventure after losing everything. Meanwhile I’m still struggling to let go of photos I don’t even like

Thanks Sari, as always, for your splendid work.

You're so right, Elizabeth. I could have used that knowledge in my 20s and 30s, too. (Still trying to learn it, honestly.) So glad you enjoyed this. <3

It takes practice. A LOT of practice for me. So I hit the wrong note occasionally. Then can practice letting go of dratted perfectionism. 😂
