Sari , long before menopause gained press and women talking about it out loud I wrote a book which focues on the funny side of this time of life called "GONEPAUSAL". It proved to be before it's time as menopause was still a very silent subject for women who declared they were over it. The truth is you are never over it. The more celebrties dared admit they were peri-menopausel , real people chimed in. The Nytimes published my letter to the editor and I was on many podcasts but it was still a silent embarrassing time for women. I would love to send you a book and hopefully get a voice on Oldster on the topic.

Loved that Wendy Goodman piece in NY Mag about Audrey Flack. I attended her new opening on Saturday--it's a must-see! I also wrote about her (and the show) in my latest post.

Great lineup! And oh to be at the Woodstock Fest, to see many of my favorite writers with such a great topic. Zoom, anyone?? ❤️

A big, giant yes to menopause advocacy!! And it couldn’t be easier to send the letter via the Let’s Talk Menopause website. So happy you shared! I recently wrote an article/meno resource guide, and the stats on research, funding and doctor training are shocking. Also I so wish I could attend the panel- I hope you write about it!

Hurray for menopause advocacy! I sent a message. Love the variety of fields of interest here. I doubt I’ll be skiing at 90, but I am skiing at 50, and for that I’m grateful.

I'm emailing my Dad the link to that timeshare article. He's actually having issues with his own timeshare, but I don't think it's serious like what I read in that article. They were supposed to do something and didn't, but tacked on another timeshare and he caught on. And he's not sending payments. LOL But I don't think the payments are going to Mexico. Good reminder NOT to vacation--or live--in Mexico. Although, according to Int'l Living magazine, Mexico is #3 on their list of best places to retire. That may be, but you won't find me living there specifically due to the presence of the cartel.

not all are thrilled with karaoke, which has emptied more bars than a barfight : )
