Thank you for the link to Jenny Joseph. That poem is one I love, and can be cast as cliche or "cute", which I think is a way that older women are often condescended to and framed. But I have always adored it, read a real unabashed fierce, Trickster message in it. And to hear her read it is a delight.
Another great roundup. And yes, get the will! You will rest easier afterward.
Hope that you have a wonderful trip. :).
I often find myself nodding and smiling while reading the Oldster interviews. Thank you, thank you, Sari.
Thanks for the mention! Happy travels.
Thanks, Laurie! 😘
oh wow - great round up, particularly the link for the sugar hill gang, i hadn't heard that long version!
Amazed at how many of the books I have read, from the “75 books for Gen X’ers” list. All that rabid reading did me some good.
1973 was a great vintage. I like that I share it with Hip-Hop 😄❤️
So much to love about this one. And I did. And will some more. Thanks, Sari! Enjoy your stay in the Bay area.
Thanks for the great links and have a great trip, Sari.
In 2009, I went to a 30th anniversary event for "Rappers Delight" at Queensbridge Park and took pics with my flip phone:

Enjoy your time with family. Love this round up.
Loved our conversation, Sari, and excited to see more Oldster videos (and podcasts!) in the future.
Bon voyage,Sari!!!
