Two of my favorites (besides EIF) are You’re Wrong About and Maintenance Phase. Both do deep dives into cultural phenomena (MP especially looks at diet and wellness culture) and items that were newsworthy in their day.
I am tearing through the Patreon backlog of You’re Wrong About, because I am obsessed. Also love Throughline and Threedom and other shows starting with Y and T.
Pantsuit Politics with Beth Silvers and Sarah Stewart Holland - two whip smart women with lots to say about what's up. i find them to be engaging, super informative, entertaining and never a drag + never a waste of my time
I've stopped listening to a lot of podcasts because I felt they were really contributing nothing but noise to my life.
BUT, I really like the podcast Nothing Much Happens: Bedtime Stories for Grownups. It's helps with insomnia & trains your brain for better sleep. It's actually helped me quite a bit.
I recently discovered Finding Our Way, hosted by Prentiss Hemphill. She talks to a host of great, diverse folks about social change and being alive and present in a body. I always, always learn something.
Man, I wish I could make sense of podcasts. To me, they're just noise. (Remember the three learning styles? Auditory, visual, kinesthetic?) Luckily for me and other non-auditory people, I can still read my way to happiness. Please keep those articles, posts, and books coming!
I really like 15 Minutes: a podcast about fame with Jamie Berger.
He interviews some very famous people (David Sedaris, George Saunders) some who are big ducks in smaller puddles, and some civilians with interesting takes on the subject. My favorite was his interview with cartoonist MariNaomi.
He went a bit dormant during the pandemic, but I know he's got some new episodes in the editing phase now.
I love that podcast and I thought their interview with you was great! I also love Happier with Gretchen Rubin, Happier in Hollywood, Satellite Sisters, all NPR shows, Fat Mascara.. and many more!
I love the excerpt from Jenn's book. I'm going to get it now and read it. Also, remember reading and enjoying Kim's piece. I do not listen to ANY podcasts currently but will check out Kim's and Jenn's. Thanks for sharing, Sara.

I love those, too!
