I think your goals are excellent in terms of reminding people that we are all aging no matter when our birthday was. A non-judgemental forum for peaceful discussions on personal experience of any kind is always a good thing!

I do enjoy many of your posts -- thank you. But as I am 82, I find that I don't bother reading anything unless it's written by those in their 70s and more. Call me elitist, but there you are. It also used to infuriate me when people in their 20s viewed me (in my 40s or 50s, let's say) as OLD!

Story of my life … always late to the party. I missed this. Why? Because I have only just discovered substack. I’ve kinda heard of it - ok so I have heard of it through a couple of people I know, but I’ve just been too busy being distracted by making reels for instagram and FB and now trying to ‘find’ and engage on threads. It’s too much. I want one space I can post on and then just share the links on all those other platforms. I have my midlife story to share and I want to build connections with incredible women around the globe who are experiencing life like we have learnt to do. We are brave, powerful mid-lifers who have a voice and refuse to be told to shut up! I am a tad daunted as Substack is quite clearly a ‘grown up’ space compared to social media. It feels like I need a proper strategy to make the most of what it offers. But when you know me you know I am tenacious, driven and very passionate. Any pointers in how to get going would be most appreciated. Thanks ladies x
