Good going for taking the leap into the surgery! You are a poster woman for the surgery and even more importantly as a Bad Ass, Clear-eyed Poster Gal for Ray-Bans!

Just had double cataract surgery at 82. Same myopia, but glad to dump glasses.

Painless, walked out. I like wrap-arounds. Duo.

I hear you. I've been putting off cataract surgery for 5 years now. My eye doctor: Did you know you have a cataract? Me: Yes, I've been watching it for awhile. Doctor: I think it's time to stop watching and start acting. LOL. I'd been using the excuse that "I need my eyes so I can work" and "what if something goes wrong?" However, I'm retired now and have ZERO excuses. Thanks for the nudge.

I so get this. When I had my cataracts done I chose the cheaper implants that insured I would still need glasses. Because I love them, and Texier describes that perfectly-they add that architecture to ones face that softens so over time. Love this and love the Ray-Bans.

I need the architecture to elevate and outline my pale lashless eyes. Completely at a loss without my glasses.

reading this through my 4th or 5th pair of progressive lenses; I'll spend a ton on frames because of the architecture; Ray Bans, Betsy Johnsons, and so forth. PS been reading you, Catherine, since "Love is Strange."
