Cool! She has a pretty big catalog; Bloomsday is a great one, my favorite is Joey, and the show Reservation Dogs had her do a gorgeous cover of Time After Time.

Thank you for all the great playlists, Cliff!

Two Canadian recommendations:

Powerful by Reuben and the Bullhorn Singers

At the End of the Day by Sylvia Tyson (a bit of a cheat, as it came out in 2023!)

Wow, never heard of Reuben and THe Bullhorn singers, pretty impressive.

love Sylvia Tyson and of course her work with Ian Tyson. Beatuiful song, reminds me a little of Joan Baez's very introspective last studio album.

I hadn't heard of Reuben and the Bullhorn Singers either, until I heard this song on the radio!

I got to go to her concert last Saturday at the Paramount Theatre in Austin. Ruthie Foster’s Mileage is my favorite song of 2024!

Ruthie rocks, thanks!

I don’t have a favorite for 2024, but watching my 4-year-old grandson sing “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone slays me. He knows all the words and has the moves.

Awww. Love that.

Thanks, amazing how popular that song is worldwide.

My favorite as a 74 year old lesbian is Billie Eilish’s song Lunch. Such a rarity to have a frankly sexy lesbian pop song.

Coloured Goddess by Mohini Dey … her whole album is amazing.

CSNY - Live at the Fillmore East (1969) … just released and the acoustic set is great. And yes, I’m that old!

Mohini Dey is great, thanks for turning me on to her!

If you have the chance, check out her interview with Rick Beato. Her story is fascinating.

“Dig” by knitting (from Montreal). Heavy and moody with a line that’s particularly apt this year for me “please hold me together/lately I’ve been feeling retired, baby”.

PS the whole album “Some Kind of Heaven” is a constant ear worm for me!

I am digging Dig, very cool psychy rock, thanks.
