My Dad and stepmom are up there still, in a log home he designed and built (with Amish lumber and help) when he was 75 -- another example for me to follow! We've gone back pretty much annually throughout our kids' childhoods, and there's something stablizing about how much the area does *not* change, right? I appreciate the beauty of it more now; we try to rent camps on the St Lawrence when visiting, and understand now why those sunsets are so famous. Thank you.
