There's no way to choose a favorite! Like my children, I love them all the same. ;-)
I will add, though, I got a chuckle from today's post, "This is 3!" I assumed you were interviewing a 3-year-old and thought, hmmm, this will be interesting! LOL!
Three years, huh? Wow. So many wonderful Oldster essays and questionaires published. As a writer it's always a treat to have a publisher/editor who not only appreciates your work, but is also smooth to work with while helping to make the writing better. Congratulations on your anniversary and thank you for giving me a place to tell my MANY stories.
Here's a precise answer to your one question. I have marked and made my own notes on 109 of your posts. My list would be longer than all of the hyperlinks in this post. It's a good thing that cake is so big because you have a lot of other bestselling authors, editors, educators, and wise people to help you finish it to the final swipe of your finger in the remaining frosting on the plate.
Mazel tov! What a huge accomplishment. I so enjoy your work and the featured writers. I’ve laughed. I’ve cried. I’ve forwarded. I’ve saved.
Some how I found you three years ago so I feel like I’m in the Oldster World for good! Btw way, I’m 61 now! Gained a year since I sent you the pic of myself in your cute t shirt.

I am so happy (and grateful) for all the work you do here at Oldster - I feel sure that you must never sleep lol. I love all the writing much of which resonates hugely and reassures and calms me. The post I really enjoyed was the one where everyone shared intel about age related health issues like foot problems. (A shameful issue I NEVER thought I would have and I miss all those funky shoes ...)
The amount of information/links/suggestions that came back was so helpful! I followed up on many. Would love to see another one of these convos featuring dread and anxiety! (May have suggested this previously, forgive ..) Either way, thanks so much and happy anniversary!!!
Growing such a big, good-hearted audience in 3 fast oldster years is real achievement -- Congratulations, Sari! I've learned something new from every questionnaire I've read here, and that gets deepened when I read the comments. Thank you; here's to decades more!
I loved the Neko Case article. And there was a man who said he only ate one meal a day, which I had never heard of, and it sent me on a really positive health journey.
“The Woman Who Is Afraid to Learn New Things.” I have always wanted to buy a print of that cartoon that I could frame. A brilliant mind is amongst us - humble and wry and brilliant 💙 Congratulations, Sari Botton, and many happy returns!
I couldn’t pick a favorite but I do want to say congratulations and I’m so glad you followed your idea. No matter how crazy it felt. This is one of my favorite places on the Internet.
Well I liked pretty much all of them. One still intrigues me to this day. It was about women deciding to let the gray grow out and stop the coloring. Is it that big a deal to women? I guess so. Then as I thought about it I realized that maybe there's a little more to it. I'm guessing it's a big deal to color your hair? Cost a lot? IDK, but it has lead me to ponder aging in the context of the most basic of people, females and males. Would women grade physical decline as high as men? Maybe higher? Anyways, thank you for all the dispatches, they are so worth the few pennies of the subscription 😉.
Every questionnaire to me reveals something I hadn't thought about and needed to read that day.
Glad to hear!

I should do that! Thank you, Bette!
Q: "Name one aging related adjustment you refuse to make."
A: I don't want to go to kindergarten!
😂
Oh and about favorites - Laurie Stone, Laura Lippman and Michael Gonzales. And Abigail too. So many. You really know how to curate!
All great contributors! Glad you enjoy them. Thank you for your kind words!

Neko Case, Claire Dederer, Elissa Altman. The one about menopausal sweating. And pretty much everything by Michael A. Gonzales.
Fine selections!

Thank you, Sue! The comfortable footwear piece was very popular! Will consider an open thread on anxiety. Stay tuned…
Neko!
That is all. ❤️ ☺️
She’s amazing.

So glad you enjoy Oldster, Jim.
I can't pick a favorite, but I love that you interview people from many different decades and all walks of life!
Thank you!
