I need to see that movie "Thelma." It looks HILARE! Read the Mariah Burton Nelson piece ("no middle finger needed". BWAHA. I still would've strutted past with a smirk on my face) and enjoyed reading Pan Cooke's other cartoons. If I was on IG more, I'd follow him. Thanks for sharing.
Omg Cyndi Lauper is my exact age. It is surreal, I tell you. And today I noted that I LOOK 70. Pause for reflection. What does it all mean, if anything? Loved the New Yorker article about living life backward.
I'm going gray. Not there yet at 86 but I'm fading. About a month ago I decided to have lowlights done to give it a little bit more color. It's very subtle and I don't think anyone has even noticed, which is fine with me. 😊 I've been on vacation for the last week with my brother and sister-in-law. We mostly visited with family that we don't see often enough, saw some really interesting things done by various Historical Societies and did a lot of walking. The walking part told me I need to do more of it, and I promised myself. that I will.
The article “How to Live Forever” was particularly interesting and an inspiring reminder to do something with all the photos, cards, mementoes etc. I have been collecting since I was 7. I am 59, it’s time to start.
I'm sorry, but that's the cutest Brian I've ever seen...Such joy. Congratulations!
Right? I debated whether to share that here, but I couldn't help myself. <3
I’m glad you did. It’s so sweet.
This is great!!! Thanks for all the oldster news
Glad you like it!
All these oldsters are knockin it out of the park! I gotta get going : )
Congratulations to Brian!
I'll pass that along! Thank you.
I’ve never been able to tell the difference between cool and warm. I like my gray hair anyway.

I LOVED Thelma. Saw it twice. Recommend!
Loved Brian's song and that video of him listening to it on the radio in the car--how sweet is that!
💕
Really like the round up! Thanks (I'm new here) Love love love the hair
Thanks, Sari, for today's shout-out for my Recovery: A Love Story essay. Totally enjoying Oldster and these roundups.
My pleasure, Mariah. Great piece. <3

I love that look on your husband's face as he listens to his song on the radio -- that's real satisfaction right there!
Yes, I find it so endearing.
I love that this place exists. The collective wisdom of all of us might keep us sane.
Thank you! 🙏
