I must be the perfect demographic for Oldster. I’ve already read half of these articles!

Two things I'd like to see. The opposite of, “It’s never too late to find the love of your life," meaning, "It's never too late to discover that being alone is fantastic!" Or, maybe just: "It's never too late to get rid of/lose your mate and enjoy sweet, sweet solitude and incredible productivity for a few years before you become the main caregiver to your parent(s) and at least won't have to worry about the toll it would have taken on your relationship," because I don't know if those women in the Delpy film realize what's coming down the pike when their parents get old, or maybe they make enough money to delegate that care...

And 2, the opposite of the Julie Delpy movie quote, "Here's to the second half of your life: may it be as glorious as the first." I say "May it be even BETTER than the first!" Because I'm making sure every year is better than the last. ;)

Heh, I could've easily written this headline myself: “It’s never too late to find the love of your life.” My own story is on my blog, here: https://crossedeyesanddottedtees.wordpress.com/2021/04/21/an-open-letter-to-mark-zuckerberg/

I'm 76 and my guy is 67. (Yes, we're mirror images of each other!) My loving-and-laughing partner and I were just married in July.

I lived alone since my divorce in 1979! So nice to have company and help now. So happy!
