I’m impressed with how simply you respond (and I don’t expect that you toiled over these answers, tho maybe….). I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say they’ve always felt an age older than they are. Very cool. (Very Larry David!) Looking forward to reading your book.
This interview speaks to me. I'm an 82-year-old, 59-year married woman with two children in their 50s. Long ago, my 75-year-old neighbor told a friend, "Joanie's only 25, but she seems 50." I loved my actual 50s, still feel the same, thanks to good luck and careful choices.
I enjoyed your interview and understand your saying that you brought yourself up. I kind of did too. I must say you brought yourself up “not be a jerk,” as your grandfather told you, but to be a “bench.” Your darling daughter is lucky to have a dad like you to help bring her up along with your lovely wife.
