I did a lot of depositions for arbitrations. I LOVED taking the facts from those documents and crafting the most compelling stories possible. Then you argue the law. Best story wins! : )
I am going to check out all his books! I really enjoyed this interview. It's especially interesting to me because I am also a lawyer and I have often felt that the best lawyers are the best storytellers, especially in the trial context. Maurice may no longer be practicing law but he seems to be acing the practice of writing.
