Great story. Thank you. I've been feeling lonely for true friends and companionship. most of the people in my soul tribe died, some of them turned out to be dirty rats and others just have not been there.

I've had many hospitalisations and heart procedures in the last 10 years. And I'll tell you what… If your life collapses, if you get sick.if you fall down on hard times, . that's when you find out who your friends are. In my experience, you can count them on one hand and still have fingers left over.

As a 70 year old I really resonated with this story and with the time back in the day of the village and gay bars that my friend used to take me to. Remember Julius?

You are blessed to have ended up with that wonderful little beach cottage AND a place in the village --- and I wish you much happiness. In this digital Internet age where nobody calls anybody anymore, nobody seems to know how to talk anymore and hang out in person and listen to Steely Dan, if you have a friend that you can sit on the beach and talk to who speaks the same language and understands the same references. I'm really glad you have that because it's pure gold.✨🙏✨

And God bless Ian for coming around and finding you!

I wish somebody would come and find me!

All the best to you Kate!

💜🌈✨🌊🐬

This is wonderful, Kate! I think as we get older, our "new" friends/lovers are often people from our past, whether we knew them well then or not. Congratulations on finding each other again!
