Once again, thanks for these links! Can't wait to read some of them. Your hard work is appreciated as you continue to demonstrate how to use the internet as a force for connection and healthy exploration.
Thank you so much for the link to the Bruce Springsteen article! I have been a fan of his since high school, and was at the 2024 concert in Phoenix. I even made it into some YouTube videos, an unexpected treasure I found later!
He and the E Street Band (most of whom are also in their 70s) rocked the house as always. Bruce inspires me for many reasons (including his honesty about his bouts of depression and his political views). I am eagerly awaiting the movie’s release later this month!
Have you been in touch with Lawrence Bush ( lives in Accord) and the folks from Alte Growing Old Together? They did a lovely program at the Borsht Belt Museum and have some wonderful writers and artists involved. Perhaps you can join forces or do some collaborations? Your missions align I think! Anyway, I love what you’re doing at Oldster too. Carry on!
Sad about Henry Jaglom (didn’t know). Also, I came to know about Erika Shannon when I was working out via DailyBurn for years. I still do her workouts and she also speaks to dealing with menopause, aging, and wellness. Thought it would be worth sharing her IG here (https://www.instagram.com/erikashannonmovement?igsh=cDNxeDNrMTljeG4y). I am a big fan of her kickboxing and other workouts(which are not for women only), as well as her occasional menoparties.

Thank you for those kind words, Vincent!

I’m a fan since high school, too! Did you see this Oldster essay to a few months ago? https://oldster.substack.com/p/some-day-well-look-back-on-this-and

Thanks, Arlene! I know the woman from Alte. She wrote something for Oldster. We’ve been meaning to connect…

So many cool things! The nuns! The rotary phone!!
Sari, please reconsider recommending links which are behind paywalls. I often look forwarding to reading something only to find I'm blocked.
